*John tries to focus on the paper, identifying which topics would most likely come up in the Chamber later, and which would have requests for UQs put in about them. However, the scratching of the pens is so loud, he barely makes it through half a page by the time they're finished.*
*Peter thanks both of the witnesses, shakes their hands and then waits for them to leave before tucking into his breakfast. He's not particularly hungry, but the potion leaves a foul taste in his mouth and he needs something to wipe it away.*
*John bid goodbye to Nigel and Lindsay, reminding them of the meeting in a short while. Once they have gone he flicks through to the crossword page.*
