An interesting suggestion, but one that I doubt will come to fruition damn it.

It would mean spending rather less time at home than I've grown accustomed to, but no doubt the look on Gordon's face challenge of the role would more than compensate...

He could well save us from Osborne's plans. Until we get in, of course, but I'm not sure the economy can wait four years.

Could sort out the IMF in general. Bloody bastards are almost as mad as Osborne thinking spending cuts can cure fucking cancer.

At least they kept their mouths shut when it mattered, though.

Wouldn't trust the papers as far as you can throw 'em.

Though it wouldn't be the worst idea if he stayed as an MP. Y'know... a by-election in Scotland in this climate

He's quite attached to his patch in Scotland anyway. The world leaves him alone up there.

I won't be back in Yorkshire until late. We're still trying to get Ken Clarke thrown out.

It's much less exciting than opening a post office.
