*Peter hands over the reciept to John before shaking hands with everyone in the room. It takes a little while but soon everything is settled enough for him to enquire about the new leaflet. There is an uncomfortable silence. Eventually someone pipes up with asurances that it's 'nearly done'.*

John, perhaps we could have a quick discussion in your office about this morning and come back to the electoral material in, say... half an hour?
