2nd September, 7 am, Prison Cell
*This time, Peter is awake for the transformation. It's unpleasantly painful and as his human mind takes over again, he finds himself wishing mostly for sedatives.
His clothes are torn to shreds, again, but the blankets are warm and with a little shuffling, can be extended to form a human sized bed. He glares at the basket in the corner. His wolf form clearly wasn't impressed with it either as it's been thoroughly chewed.
There is a stange smell emanating from the region of the door, Peter ignores it. The shower was installed far too late in the day for him to have a chance to wash the miscellaneous grime off yesterday evening, but it's looking very tempting now.
After completing his ablutions, Peter sets the fire in the grate burning again, looking slightly askance at the chicken leg, and curls up under the covers once more. It's slightly more comfortable than yesterday and his limbs are less painful, but the sunlight coming through the bare windows makes it difficult for him to drift off to sleep.*

8 a.m.
Good morning, Peter.
*John wrinkles his nose at the smell and the ruined bed but says nothing. Instead, he puts the food down on the floor, rearranges the rest of the stuff he is carrying and summons a table and chairs. He then puts the food and cutlery on the table, next to the clothes and paperwork.*
When you're ready, we really do have some urgent paperwork that needs doing.
Re: 8 a.m.
Sitting down with a fork in one hand and some paperwork in the other, he frowns. 'Owner', indeed. He sees that line has carefully been left blank and scans the rest of the document whilst devouring three sausages and half a packet of bacon.*
Re: 8 a.m.
We need to decide who is going to be your...
It's essentially power of attorney but the terminology is... different.
Technically, someone has to 'claim' you, but you should be given a choice. As it says, your... the person cannot be a relative or a partner.
*There is a pause.*
Do you... do you have a preference?
Re: 8 a.m.
*He pauses and considers*
Define 'partner'.
Re: 8 a.m.
In your case, Osborne.

9.05 a.m.
Peter, Frances has asked to discuss the situation with you before she'll agree to being your ow- guardian.
She'll be here shortly.
Re: 9.05 a.m.
Very well.
...
...Is there any more news of the two that were injured?
Re: 9.05 a.m.
9:15 AM
Hello, Lord Mandelson. I'm sorry we have to meet under such unfortunate circumstances.
Re: 9:15 AM
Re: 9:15 AM
I'm willing, but I want you make sure you fully understand the legal situation.
Re: 9:15 AM
As far as I understand it, since Straw's reforms came into effect, I have no rights.
*He crosses his arms and stares at her.*
The owner is responsible for all damage incurred by the werewolf and the werewolf may be put down at any time if it is deemed a risk to public safety, have I got that right?

Good morning, Peter. I've brought you some books and food.
Good morning, Frances.

Good morning, Dawn.

Well, then, I'll just leave you to it. If you need more food, Peter, let me know. Bye.
*Dawn leaves. It's time to get some answers about the deputy speakers' role in all of this. Are they responsible for guard duty? How busy is John going to be? And just where is Nigel?*

Hello the house! How is Peter doing? I've brought him company.

We come bearing gifts and a dog.

We brought you your clothes. And dog. *She looks over her shoulder at the white brush of Jack's disappearing tail.* I'll go get him.

7.30 p.m.
*While Frances searches through the luggage and gifts to make sure nothing contraband was hidden inside (and laughing at the rose patterned briefs Fiona had brought for him), John cleans out the room.*
*Peter, meanwhile, is searching for the forms.*
Calm down, Peter. Everything is sorted.
Just try and relax.
Re: 7.30 p.m.
*He narrows his eyes at John, hoping he doesn't use any summoning charms to pick up the smaller objects- Peter had, with Alastair's assistance, hidden the blackberry on top of the bars in the chimney where he hopes it will be beyond detection.*
Re: 7.30 p.m.
*So she is not, perhaps, as thorough as she might have been in searching Peter's luggage. She raises her eyebrows at the denim shirt, examines the cufflinks and decides they're not sharp enough to be a threat, and satisfies herself that the toiletry bag does not contain anything that could be used as a weapon.*
*She does not think to scan the room for anything that might have been removed and hidden.*
I suppose we'll have to wait to see if you transform before we provide you with a bed.
Re: 7.30 p.m.
*John casts a final cleaning charm - to remove the smell that has been hanging around all day - and a tidying charm to pick up the bits of rubbish that had collected through the day.*
*As well as scraps jumping into the bin outside the door, a mobile phone bounces off the stonework inside of the chimney and into John's hand. It's mostly broken, but the light at the top indicates the power's on at least.*
*John thinks about lecturing Peter, but the possibility of a very annoyed wolf on his hands deters him. Instead, John tries to glare at Peter as the two Speakers exit the cell and lock the door.*
Not long now...
