(no subject)

A change of politicians does not appear to necessitate a change in policy.

I find it interesting that the coalition government accuses Labour of lacking policies whilst simultaneously adopting them.

Found this in a drawer. Have a red pen as well, were you to find it useful. Only, I hear Eddie's looking for new policies

Would you care to propose some new policies instead of adopting our old ones?

Oh really? Given the similarities between Lib Dem policy formation and a potluck dinner, I thought there was a collective responsibility for that sort of thing?

Well, you know it would just be rash to ditch Labour's one good idea. I'd hope the Coalition government were above that sort of posturing.

For a party with only 'one good idea', we certainly seemed attractive enough coalition partners to you, Paddy.

Well, Tony actually had some good ideas back then and a huge amount of personal charm. Besides, it wasn't actually that hard for him to look good in comparison with CherieMajor.
